Red, White, and Bardstown: Celebrating 250 Years of America’s Spirit
In 2026, America marks 250 years of independence—and Bardstown/Nelson County, Kentucky, is proud to join the celebration. Known as the Bourbon Capital of the World and one of the nation’s most historic small towns, Bardstown will host a series of sanctioned events from February through July that honor both America’s heritage and our own.
From parades and festivals to concerts, historic tours, and family-friendly gatherings, Red, White, and Bardstown is our way of blending national pride with local tradition. Each event highlights the spirit of our community and the story of America itself—past, present, and future.
Join us as we celebrate 250 years of freedom, unity, and hometown pride right here in Bardstown.
